About Me
A bit about myself.

I am currently a freshman at Singapore Management University (SMU), studying in the School of Computing and Information Systems. Since my National Service days, I have been drawn to quantitative finance, econometrics, and anything that involves data, numbers, and patterns. I enjoy building statistical models and applying machine learning techniques to real-world problems, especially when they are grounded in solid data and evidence from the financial world.
Outside of school, you will often find me running, in the gym working on strength training, or just taking some time to clear my head through exercise. I also have a growing interest in philosophy, particularly theology and existential questions about meaning and purpose. On top of that, I spend a lot of time reading about global affairs, whether in economics or geopolitics, and turning those ideas into writing. Sometimes that looks like longer reflections on Medium, other times it is more structured book reviews on Notion. Writing helps me organise my thoughts and see what I truly understand.
I really enjoy sharing what I learn with others, especially topics that might seem intimidating at first. This began back in Junior College, where I founded a peer tutoring initiative that still continues today. My goal is to make complex ideas feel more approachable, practical, and maybe even enjoyable.
I would love to connect and have a conversation about your ideas, whether they are related to finance, tech, philosophy, or anything in between.
